Honda priced the updated Elevate from ₹11.80 lakh ex-showroom on 6 October 2026. The 1.5-litre petrol is unchanged, and the new ZX+ Black CVT goes to ₹18.40 lakh. Here is what to confirm before you book in Mumbai, Thane or Pune.
Honda Cars India put the updated Elevate on sale on 6 October 2026. The opening ex-showroom price is ₹11.80 lakh, the same starting point as the outgoing SUV. India is the first market to get this version. Pre-launch bookings had opened on 1 October for ₹21,000 at authorised Honda dealerships.

The 2026 car adds a light bar over the grille and moves the Honda badge onto the bonnet, so the car on the showroom floor should not look exactly like this one.
What did Honda change, and what stayed?
The engine is the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, still quoted at 121 PS and 145 Nm. The choice is a six-speed manual or a CVT. There is still no strong-hybrid of the kind Honda sells on the City. Claimed mileage at the launch is 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. Those are brochure numbers. Your figure in Mumbai or Pune traffic will be lower.
What you can see is the face and the kit. A segmented LED light bar sits above a darker grille. The tail-lamps are joined by a light bar. Nordic Forest Pearl is a new colour, in one tone or with a black roof. The cabin change Honda is selling hardest is ventilation for the rear seats, plus powered and ventilated front seats on the higher trims, a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors. The CVT cars are the ones that add an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and low-speed follow on the adaptive cruise control. Six airbags, the 10.25-inch screen and the single-pane sunroof carry over.
How much does each variant cost?
These are ex-showroom prices for Delhi, published after the 6 October launch. Some pearl and dual-tone colours add a separate charge. The manual starts at SV. The CVT starts at V. ZX+ is the new grade, and ZX+ Black is the top of the list.
| Variant | Manual | CVT |
|---|---|---|
| SV | ₹11.80 lakh | — |
| V | ₹12.29 lakh | ₹13.79 lakh |
| VX | ₹13.93 lakh | ₹15.39 lakh |
| ZX | ₹15.39 lakh | ₹16.89 lakh |
| ZX+ | ₹16.80 lakh | ₹18.30 lakh |
| ZX+ Black | ₹16.90 lakh | ₹18.40 lakh |
SV manual is the price on the banner. ZX+ Black CVT is ₹18.40 lakh. The difference is equipment. There is no second engine.
Is ₹11.80 lakh the price in Mumbai?
No. That figure is ex-showroom. Road tax, insurance and dealer handling sit on top, and they change by RTO. One published on-road figure for the SV manual in Mumbai is ₹13.93 lakh. Pune, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Palghar will not copy Delhi, or that Mumbai number, line for line. Get a written on-road quote for the city where the car will be registered before you pay the ₹21,000 booking.
Which variant is worth a look in city traffic?
SV is manual only. If most of the week is Mumbai or Pune traffic, the first automatic is the V CVT, at ₹13.79 lakh ex-showroom. Auto hold and low-speed follow are reserved for the CVT, so a manual test drive will not show them.
ZX+ is the grade added for this update: ₹16.80 lakh manual and ₹18.30 lakh CVT. Black is ₹10,000 more on each gearbox. ZX CVT is ₹16.89 lakh, which is ₹9,000 more than ZX+ manual. Before you treat the manual as the cheaper car, check which of the new items — rear ventilation, the 360-degree camera, powered seats — are actually fitted to the one in front of you.
What should you confirm before you book in Mumbai, Thane or Pune?
- A written on-road price for your RTO, not the ₹11.80 lakh ex-showroom line.
- That the car is the October 2026 update: light bar over the grille, badge on the bonnet, not a 2023–2025 Elevate still in the yard.
- Which colour can be delivered now. Nordic Forest Pearl and the black-roof cars may not be in every stock list this week.
- That the CVT you are shown includes auto hold, if that is the reason you are paying for the automatic.
- The service schedule after the standard warranty visits, and the nearest authorised workshop.
Festive schemes and colour charges can move the number on the quotation away from the launch list. Read Honda Cars India's booking announcement, then match the variant prices against the ex-showroom list published at launch.
If you are also looking at the new Skoda Slavia, the sedan story from this week is a different budget and a different body. Once the Elevate is home, later workshop visits can be planned with periodic car service. A no-start away from the showroom is a separate job, covered on MYFNG roadside assistance. Workshops around Mumbai and Pune are on the workshop locator. More launch notes are on Automobile News.
