What is a Gas Leak?

A gas leak occurs when the refrigerant escapes from the AC system, leading to a drop in cooling efficiency. This can happen due to wear and tear, or damage to the AC components. If you notice any hissing sounds or a drop in cooling performance, it’s time to check the refrigerant levels.

Condenser Issues

The condenser plays a crucial role in cooling the refrigerant before it enters the cabin. If it gets blocked or damaged, it can lead to insufficient cooling. Common signs include a hot condenser or visible damage. Regular maintenance can help prevent these issues.

Fan Malfunction

The AC fan is responsible for circulating air through the system. If the fan is not functioning properly, it can lead to poor airflow and reduced cooling. Listen for unusual noises or check if the fan is running when the AC is on.
